I was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Some of my interest are related to the relationship between literature and history, especially when the works produced in those areas emphasize topics such as power, violence, and politics. I intend to study the political, historical and aesthetical problems in the literary narratives and other cultural products of Latin-America and the Caribbean.
