Congratulations to Naira Corzón on completing her dissertation and receiving her PhD on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Written under the direction of Prof. Juan Duchesne-Winter and titled "EL LENGUAJE DE LAS COSAS: EL SONIDO Y LA VOZ EN LAS ARTES Y LITERATURAS DE BOLIVIA (2003-2019),” Naira’s dissertation addresses recent Bolivian arts and literary expressions from the perspective of Sound Studies. Her doctoral committee included Professor Alba María Paz Soldán (External Examiner, Universidad Mayor de San Andrés), and Professors Aurea María Sotomayor and Daniel Balderston (Internal Examiners, University of Pittsburgh).
