Placement Test
Spanish Placement Test
In order to identify the language course that best fits your needs and language skills, we are requiring that all incoming students take the Spanish placement test. Please take the test before your scheduled registration appointment with your adviser.
The placement test has two components:
- online written test
- oral interview.
Each takes approximately 15 minutes.

Oral Interview
Make an appointment online for the oral interview at http://rich75.com/pitt2.
The interviews will be conducted in rooms 1301A and/or 1302B CL (Cathedral of Learning).
Students may place into Spanish levels beyond SPAN 0002, up to SPAN 0020 and 0025, by taking the placement exam.
