Agustín Abreu Cornelio

Biography

Agustín holds a BA in Hispanic Literature and an MFA in Creative Writing. He has published the books of poetry Extinción del testimonio(2014), Los reflejos(2009), Caramelo de muerta (chapbook, 2002) and “El impuro descanso” in the collective book El éter de las esferas(2006). With Karla Marrufo, he prepared an anthology of the poetry of Óscar Oliva titled Sin lugar para la ternura(2012). He published an essay in the book En la orilla del silencio, Ensayos sobre Alí Chumacero (2012), and “El amor es un vivo gato muerto. Manifestaciones del realismo virtual en Doble filo, de María Elena Aura” in the journal Tema y Variaciones de Literatura (2012). He is assistant editor of the Spanish and Portuguese Review.
