Literature of Nicaragua

This special issue is dedicated to Nicaraguan literature. The articles are organized in four sections: essays, poetry, narrative, and theater. Themes include Rubén Darío's influence within his country, the importance of the vanguard movement, the poetry of Ernesto Cardenal and of Ernesto Mejía Sánchez, 20th century Nicaraguan novels, and theater of the Revolution. Contributors include Nicasio Urbina, Douglas Salamanca, Ricardo Llopesa, Nydia Palacios, Álvaro Urtecho y Consuelo Pérez Díaz, and others.
