Juan Bosch: El último cuentista dominicano

Professor Fernando Valerio-Holguín was born in La Vega, Dominican Republic. Valerio-Holguín has published more than fifty essays on Caribbean literature, film, and culture, and his work has appeared in journals such as Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos, Critica Hispanica, Revista Hispanica Moderna,Romance Notes, Romance Quarterly, and Revista Iberoamericana. His recent books include: Presencia de Trujillo en la Narrativa Contemporanea (Criticism, 2006), Los Huespedes del Paraiso (Novel, 2008), Las Eras del Viento (Poetry, 2006), El Bolero Literario en Latinoamerica (Criticism, 2008), Rituales de la Bella Pagana (Poetry, 2009), Elogio de las salamandras (Short story, 2010), and Retratos (Poetry, 2011). Currently, Professor Valerio-Holguin is working on a book about US Latino/Latina writers.
